A large-scale industrial plant in Texas required a comprehensive power distribution system upgrade to support its production line expansion and equipment renewal. The core of the upgrade involved the installation of a 4000A Low-Voltage Switchboard and a 2500A Low-Voltage Switchboard to ensure stable power supply across the entire facility.
As a critical infrastructure retrofit, the project demanded the highest levels of safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. All electrical equipment had to strictly adhere to local North American codes and pass the rigorous on-site inspection by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) in a single attempt.
KAILES Solution:
To meet these challenges, KAILES provided a fully customized Switchboard solution that strictly complies with the UL 891 Standard.
· High-Reliability Design: Tailored for continuous high-load industrial operations, the switchboards feature a dead-front construction for enhanced operator safety. The internal copper busbars and circuit breakers are rated at 100% capacity to minimize temperature rise and ensure long-term stability.
· Full-Process Quality Control: From sheet metal fabrication, busbar assembly, to final integration, KAILES enforces strict ISO 9001 quality management protocols. Every unit underwent comprehensive mechanical and electrical performance testing prior to shipment, guaranteeing readiness for immediate energization upon site arrival.
